Emma at Girl Scout Camp

Last weekend Emma and Cathy attend a Girl Scout Leader/Daughter camp.

First, there was crafts - lots of crafts -

Even Cathy got into the act -

Then another of Emma's favorite things - archery. She tells me the target was a little too small,

but the wall was just the right size!

Looks like there was time for silliness -

And it ended too fast for Emma

Claire at Texas A&M

Claire and I went to Texas A&M University on Saturday to see a basketball game, do some sightseeing, and find her a new Aggie football jersey.

Here she is outside the alumni center before the game.

At the alumni center is a huge Aggie ring.

Oh, by the way, we made it 14 minutes into the game before Claire was ready to go home. And so we did.

Soccer Star

Emma completed her first season of soccer in an FFPS league. This stands for Fun Fair Positive Soccer. Score is not kept (officially, but you know the kids and the parents know). There are five positions (three on offense, one on defense, and the goalie) and the kids rotate around every five minutes. If more than five players show up, the others rest.

Emma's favorite positions are goalie, defender, and resting.
